How to Brew Morpheus Awaits

Keep the cup gentle and aromatic.

Morpheus Awaits is built mostly from delicate leaves, flowers, and aerial herbs, with valerian root adding deeper earthy character. A covered infusion helps preserve the blend’s softer aromatic notes while giving the herbs enough time to fully steep.

Loose Leaf

2 tsp

Measure into a roomy tea filter or infuser.

Water

8 oz

Use freshly heated water for each cup.

Temperature

200–205°F

Hot, just-below-boiling water preserves the softer herbal aromas.

Steep

8–10 min

Cover while steeping, then strain and serve.

✦ • ✦

Let the aromatics stay in the cup.

Keep the cup covered while it steeps to hold onto the delicate aroma of chamomile, lemon balm, lavender, and the other leafy botanicals. Enjoy as prepared, or add a little honey if you prefer a softer finish.
