How to Brew Happy Gut
Give the seeds and spices time to open.
Happy Gut combines delicate flowers and leaves with fennel, caraway, ginger, and orange peel. A longer covered steep helps the aromatic seeds and warming spices fully develop while keeping the mint and citrus notes bright.
✦
Loose Leaf
2 tsp
Measure into a roomy tea filter or infuser.
☾
Water
8 oz
Use freshly heated water for each cup.
✧
Temperature
205–212°F
Very hot water helps the seeds, ginger, and peel infuse fully.
✦
Steep
10–12 min
Cover while steeping, then strain and serve.
✦ • ✦
Let the aromatics build.
A full steep gives the fennel, caraway, ginger, and citrus peel time to round out the softer chamomile, lemon balm, and peppermint. Enjoy warm after a meal, over ice, or with a little honey.
