Tea, explained
Questions are always welcome.
Start here for the practical stuff. If you’re still wondering, send us a note.
How do I brew the tea?
Use 1–2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea per 8 oz of hot water. Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes, or a little longer for a fuller herbal infusion. Strain and enjoy.
How many servings are in one bag?
Each 2 oz bag makes approximately 14–18 servings. The exact number depends on the blend and how strong you like your cup.
Do your blends contain caffeine?
Our current six-blend collection is made with herbs, roots, flowers, fruits, and seeds—not traditional tea leaves—so no caffeine is intentionally added. Always review the full ingredient list if you have a sensitivity.
Can I make the blends as iced tea?
Absolutely. Brew it slightly stronger, let it cool, then pour over plenty of ice. Happy Gut, Focus & Clarity, and Breathe are especially bright served cold.
Are all ingredients organic?
We use both organic and non-organic botanicals. Ingredient sourcing may vary by batch, and our packaging will clearly state that the blend is crafted with organic and non-organic botanicals.
Can I drink these teas while pregnant or taking medication?
Please ask a qualified healthcare professional before using herbal products during pregnancy, while nursing, while taking medication, or when managing a health condition. Natural does not automatically mean appropriate for everyone.
Are the blends meant to treat a medical condition?
No. We describe traditional uses and the kind of ritual each blend was created for, but our teas are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
How should I store loose-leaf tea?
Keep the bag tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors. Use the best-by date printed on your package as your guide.
